Nature Clean’s dishwashing liquid, along with all its other products, is non-toxic, biodegradable, BPA-free, and created from naturally-derived ingredients. The dishwashing liquid is also EcoLogo certified and does not contain suspected carcinogens such as sudsing agent Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLES) or parabens. This may mean that the liquid doesn’t create as many suds as you’re used to with traditional dishwashing liquids. Nature Clean’s offices are bullfrogpowered.

Biovert Dishwashing Liquid

This dishwashing liquid’s label is FSC-certified and made with 30% post-consumer recycled paper, and the bottle is made of 25% post-consumer recycled content. The liquid is biodegradable, EcoLogo certified, made in Canada, and does not contain ingredients of concern. Biovert is currently undergoing a life-cycle analysis of each of its products to minimize environmental impact from creation to disposal. The company is also undergoing a carbon footprint analysis.

Green Cricket Dish Soap

This product is made in the Greater Toronto Area and is available via the GreenCricket.ca website. It is certified by the Texas government as “Chem-Free” (non-estrogenic), though we could not find any further information on this certification. This soap is made with natural ingredients but includes less than half a percentage point of chemical preservative.

Clorox Green Works Natural Dishwashing Liquid

While the ingredients are touted as “99% natural”, the liquid contains colorants from an unidentified source. The product has received the US EPA’s Design for Environment label, which means that the liquid meets “stringent criteria for human and environmental health.” Clorox products are widely available in most major retailers.
